On 12.04.2026, Safe Hands Human Resources Organization, in collaboration with students from NIT Tiruchirappalli, conducted a meaningful awareness session on menstrual hygiene for the students of our Sunday Skill Development Program and their parents. The session focused on creating a better understanding of menstrual health, breaking common myths, and encouraging open conversations among both students and parents. The NIT students shared practical knowledge on hygiene practices, health care, and the importance of maintaining dignity and confidence during menstruation. As part of the initiative, sanitary napkins were also distributed to girl students and their parents, ensuring access to essential hygiene resources and promoting healthy practices. We sincerely thank the NIT students for their valuable support and effort in creating awareness, fostering confidence, and building a supportive environment within the community.
