About Us

Safe Hands Human Resources Organization

Our organization is important as it empowers vulnerable communities through education, skill development, healthcare, and environmental awareness, fostering long-term sustainability and independence.

Founded in 2010, our organization is dedicated to empowering marginalized communities, with a focus on environmental sustainability and supporting single women. Our mission is to provide these communities with opportunities for self-reliance and dignified livelihoods while contributing to environmental development and biodiversity conservation. We work to raise awareness about the importance of protecting the environment, promoting sustainable practices, and fostering biodiversity conservation. Through our efforts, we’ve empowered single women by equipping them with the tools needed to achieve financial independence and improve their quality of life. Our programs have been impactful, training over 2,200 young people for free, increasing their employment prospects and enhancing their skills. Educational Support Program

As part of the Educational Support Program supported by HopeWorks Foundation, Bengaluru, Sunday classes for Batch 6 and Batch 7 students were conducted on 27 September 2026. Mr. K. Nandakumar, Volunteer, led an Advanced Communication session for Batch 6 students, focusing on effective speaking, clear expression of ideas, active listening, and building confidence in communication. The session encouraged students to overcome hesitation, participate actively in discussions, and strengthen their communication skills for academic, social, and future professional environments. For the newly enrolled Batch 7 students, Mrs. M. Thilaga, Founder of Safe Hands Human Resources Organization, and Mr. R. Mahendra Babu, Program Manager, conducted an introductory and orientation session about the program and its learning opportunities. As part of the program support, HopeWorks Foundation provided “The Hope Journal” books and napkins to all Batch 6 and Batch 7 students. These initiatives supported students’ learning, personal development, active participation, and overall well-being.

Education Support Scholarship Programme – 2026 Inauguration

The Education Support Scholarship Programme – 2026 was inaugurated on 19 September 2026 at A13 Hall, NIT Tiruchirappalli, organized by Safe Hands Human Resources Organization with scholarship support from HopeWorks Foundation, Bengaluru, in collaboration with the Social Council, NIT Tiruchirappalli. The programme was conducted under the leadership of Mrs. M. Thilaga, Founder of Safe Hands Human Resources Organization. The event was graced by Dr. Sreejith Mohan, Associate Dean – Student Welfare; Dr. K. Susil Kumar, CEO of CEDI; Ms. Lakshmi Balasubramanian, Program Head at HopeWorks Foundation; Ms. Deepthi Rajappan, Data Management at HopeWorks Foundation; and Mr. Ravi Shanker, Assistant Registrar at NIT Tiruchirappalli. The dignitaries shared their valuable insights and encouragement, highlighting the importance of education and student support. The programme brought together students, parents, volunteers, well-wishers, and distinguished guests to celebrate educational opportunities and the impact of collective support. Safe Hands Human Resources Organization expressed its heartfelt gratitude to HopeWorks Foundation, NIT Tiruchirappalli, the guests, and everyone who contributed to the successful inauguration. The initiative aims to empower students, support their educational aspirations, and help them build brighter futures.

Environmental Awareness Program, Distributes 500 Fruit Saplings

On 29th November 2024, Our Organization hosted an insightful awareness program at Valavanthan Kottai Panchayat. The event featured speeches by Mrs. M. Saranya, Assistant Director of the Department of Horticulture, and Mr. Nedunchelian, a retired professor and environmental social activist. Their talks focused on promoting sustainable practices and environmental conservation. Mr. K.P. Sakthivel, Special Public Prosecutor, distributed 500 fruit saplings to inspire participants to take action for a greener future. The program aimed to raise awareness about the importance of preserving the environment. Attendees left with a deeper commitment to eco-friendly practices in their daily lives. The event successfully fostered a collective sense of responsibility for environmental conservation.

Empowering schools with tree plantation material

On October 16th, 2024, We supported environmental conservation by distributing tree plantation materials to 15 schools. The materials included pick axes, shovels, and two saplings for each school to promote tree planting initiatives. This effort aimed to encourage students and staff to engage in sustainable practices and contribute to local greening efforts. By providing these tools, the organization helped schools initiate their own tree plantation projects. The initiative also raised awareness about the importance of environmental preservation. Overall, it fostered a sense of responsibility towards nature among the youth.

Skill Development Program

Our Program for women focuses on empowering them with practical skills that enhance their employability and financial independence. The program offers training in various fields such as tailoring, computer literacy, and entrepreneurship. By providing these skills, women gain the confidence to start their own businesses or pursue stable job opportunities. The initiative also includes workshops on financial literacy and personal development to further support women's growth. Ultimately, the program aims to improve the quality of life for women, fostering self-reliance and economic empowerment.

Tata Capital Training Program

We provides a Program as Training Session in collaboration with Tata Capital, focusing on banking, financial services, and insurance to empower individuals with essential industry skills. The program covers areas such as financial planning, investment strategies, risk management, and customer service in the banking sector. Participants also receive guidance on the latest industry trends, regulations, and compliance practices. Through these trainings, we aim to enhance employability and provide the community with the knowledge needed for roles in banking, insurance, and financial advisory. Additionally, the program emphasizes the development of soft skills to ensure professional growth. Our efforts support individuals in securing stable careers and improving their financial independence.

Bio-Diversity Conservation & Tree Plantation

On January 22, 2025, a tree planting event took place at Panchayat Union Middle School in Oorathipatti, with 53 trees planted. The event was graced by the School Headmistress, Village President, Safe Hands Secretary, Youth Club members, and school students. The initiative focused on raising awareness about biodiversity conservation and environmental protection. Participants actively contributed to creating a greener and healthier environment through their efforts. The event underscored the importance of community participation in safeguarding nature. Students took part in the plantation, gaining knowledge about sustainability and the value of trees. The gathering highlighted the role of the youth in promoting a greener future. This initiative marked an important step towards fostering eco-consciousness in the community.

Biodiversity Conservation and Tree Plantation Awareness

On December 31, 2024, Safe Hands NGO organized a Biodiversity Conservation Meeting at SIDCO Industrial Estate, engaging 50 working women in promoting environmental awareness and sustainability. As part of the initiative for a greener future, fruit saplings were distributed, and a pamphlet highlighting the NGO's biodiversity conservation efforts was shared. The program emphasized the importance of empowering women in environmental conservation, fostering a collective commitment to a sustainable future.
