Safe Hands Human Resources Organization in collaboration with Human Rights Advocacy and Research Foundation organized SDG 5: Celebrating Gender Equality program and International Women’s Day Celebration in Aiman College of Arts and Science for Women, Tiruchirappalli on 28th March 2026, with active participation from NGO members across the state of TamilNadu. The event featured the release of the report titled “How She Figures”, focusing on crimes against women and girls in India based on NCRB data (1953–2023). The program was held until the afternoon, with insightful sessions and speeches delivered by speakers from various fields, sharing their perspectives on gender equality and women’s safety and dignity. In the afternoon, a stakeholder meeting was conducted with NGO members to discuss key issues, collaboration, and action points for future interventions. A meaningful step towards strengthening collective efforts for gender equality and social justice. We thank all participants and stakeholders for their valuable presence and contributions.
